Picture Books:

I love writing for young kids and have one book, close to my heart, coming out in 2027, and several that are submission ready: 

• ·Forthcoming: A story about a girl and her sea captain father inspired by true events (Owlkids - Spring, 2027)

• a Portuguese-Canadian immigrant story with a unique twist

• A story about overcoming fear that takes place in Antarctica (longlisted CANSCAIP’s Writing for Children Competition)

• a unique retelling about a determined chick that must meet the king (longlisted CANSCAIP’s Writing for Children Competition)

Works-In-Progress and ready soon:

• a story about two sisters that must spend the day at Papa’s store, based on true events

Young Adult:

Novel #1:

A contemporary Shakespeare retelling, woven with elements of magic. (Shortlisted, CANSCAIP’s Writing for Children Competition and awarded Letter of Distinction, Humber College School for Writers)

Novel #2 (Work-in-Progress): 

I am currently writing a contemporary novel that takes place in the Rockies. The inspiration comes from one summer in my early twenties when I worked in the stunning Rocky Mountain town of Banff, Alberta.
